This text is a draft. It was prepared without legal advice and must be reviewed and adapted by a lawyer before the platform launches. It is not yet binding.
Text in double square brackets such as Company name and legal form is a placeholder that the operator still has to fill in.
Describe honestly, ship quickly and safely, pay only through Binder. These rules keep buying and selling fair for everyone.
1. Principles
These rules form part of our Terms and apply to all users. They describe what we expect from buyers and sellers.
In short: only offer what you really have, describe it honestly, ship it quickly and well packed, and handle everything through Binder.
2. Condition, language and description
State the condition of single cards using this scale:
- Mint: factory fresh, without any marks
- Near Mint: almost like new, at most minimal marks on close inspection
- Excellent: light signs of wear, for example on edges or corners
- Good: clear but not severe signs of wear
- Light Played: visible wear, for example scratches, whitening or light creases
- Played: heavy signs of wear
- Poor: very heavy wear or damage, for example tears, water damage or strong creases
If in doubt, grade one step lower. Language, edition, set number and special features (e.g. 1st Edition, misprint, signature) must be correct.
3. Photos
For raw single cards priced at €20 or more, a real photo of the exact card offered is mandatory. Stock photos or images of other copies are not allowed in that case.
Photos must show the item clearly and unedited. Defects must not be hidden by lighting, filters or cropping.
4. Graded cards
For graded cards (PSA, CGC, BGS), you must provide the certificate number. Where possible, we check it automatically with the grading company, for example via PSA's certificate lookup.
The slab must be unaltered and undamaged unless stated otherwise. Slabs that have been opened, tampered with or re-graded are prohibited.
5. Sealed products
You may only list products as “sealed” if they are factory sealed.
Resealed products and weighed or searched booster packs are prohibited.
6. Prohibited items and behaviour
On Binder, the following is prohibited in particular:
- counterfeits, proxies and reprints offered as genuine (zero tolerance)
- resealed, weighed or searched products
- slabs that have been altered, tampered with or re-graded
- items you do not own or cannot ship
- stock photos for raw single cards priced at €20 or more
- payments outside the platform, for example by bank transfer or “PayPal Friends and Family”
- bought, swapped or self-written reviews
- multiple accounts to evade sanctions
- insults, harassment, threats and discrimination
- items whose sale is prohibited by law
7. Shipping
Ship within 2 working days after payment and add the tracking number.
Every parcel needs tracking; parcels with goods worth €25 or more must also be insured.
Pack safely: single cards at least in a sleeve and toploader in a sturdy envelope, valuable cards and sealed products in a padded box.
8. Communication and payment
Payment is made exclusively through Binder. Only then does buyer protection apply. Do not ask anyone to pay outside the platform, and do not agree to it yourself.
Use the order's message thread for everything. Messages are automatically scanned for IBANs, PayPal addresses, phone numbers and email addresses so that we can warn against fraud attempts.
Stay friendly and factual, even when problems arise.
9. Reviews
Review honestly and only based on the actual order. Reviews must not be used as leverage, for example to force a refund or a good review in return.
10. Reports and consequences
If you notice a breach, use the report button or write to Support email. How reporting works step by step is explained under Reporting and moderation.
Depending on severity and repetition, we respond with a warning, removal of the listing, temporary restriction, suspension or permanent ban. Anyone selling counterfeits as genuine will be permanently banned.
We give you reasons for every measure. If you think it is wrong, you can object via our internal complaint procedure. Details are in section 15 of the Terms.
